4. Fresno Metropolitan Museum

Occupying an historic building in Fresno's downtown, this acclaimed museum is the incarnation of concerted efforts by city figures to heighten the cultural life of Central California. Permanent exhibits pay tribute to native son and Armenian-American writer William Saroyan, focus on antique puzzles, and display Chinese snuff bottles. Traveling exhibits address such topics as animation in film, the works of artist Edward Hopper, fashion, and Russian imperial art. 	"Sloan" more than a month ago
The museum has random exhibits that are mainly aimed towards children. The building is not conducive to exhibiting art work. The galleries are spread out all over the place and the lighting is terrible. An average museum experience. Personally, I recommend the Fresno Art Museum.
