3. Fresno Art Museum

First conceived in 1948, the Fresno Art Museum has grown through the years to become one of the Central Valley's most respected repositories of contemporary art. It also specializes in pre-Columbian sculpture, Hispanic art, and California landscapes. Intended to enrich the cultural lives of local residents, the museum offers a regular schedule of lectures, concerts, and traveling exhibitions. Love this museum. Unique exhibits, great atmosphere, friendly staff...it's the best museum in town. Make sure to check out the Sculpture Garden.
