Carey Gates: Our Sweepstakes Winner's Pittsburgh Favorites
A long-time resident of the Steel City, Carey Gates is rightly proud of her hometown, which not only celebrated its 250th anniversary in 2008 but also rivals a handful of other cities for having the most bridges in a city.
As Carey acknowledges, many of Pittsburgh's top sights and attractions are perennial and would likely fall on the best lists of many residents and visitors, from museums to rivers to Heinz Field, home of the NFL Steelers.
However, she also touts her own list of must-sees, which she often takes visiting family and friends to check out. A companion selection to 10Best's favorites, Carey's choices are abundant proof of the appeal of a city that's been repeatedly applauded for both its strong business climate and its livability.
