Galveston County Historical Museum

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the 1921 City National Bank Building offers impressive exhibits detailing Galveston's rich history. One of the main features is a lighthouse collection, which includes lenses and other artifacts from an array of coastal structures that have guided ships along the Gulf Coast for more than a century. Visitors can also find Native American exhibits, photographic histories of Galveston, and a historical library.
