4. Musée d'Art et d'Histoire

Originally built in 1910 to house the overflow pieces from the Musée Rath, some of the best artifacts and relics in archaeology and fine arts can be seen here. The Musée d'Art et d'Histoire features exhibits from prehistoric times to the present age. Displays vary from prehistoric items from Mesopotamia to an altarpiece by Konrad Witz built in 1444.
