This elegant medium-sized lakeside restaurant serves some of the city's most delicious Thai food. Patara's decor is contemporary Asian and creates a colonial ambiance with khaki shades, dark woods, and fresh tropical plants and orchids. Tables are exquisitely set and meals are presented on traditional green-colored celadon plates. Although entrees are Thai, most dishes are updated with innovative combinations of spices and flavors. Patara is truly one of the gems of Geneva. There is terrace seating overlooking Lake Geneva, as well as indoor seating. The food was exquisite, as was the service. There are plenty of wine choices to wet your palette, and you are offered a choice of cigars after your meal. If you are in Geneva and don't eat here you are missing out on a great dining experience.
