The exquisite setting of this fine restaurant is alone worth the cost of the meal. La Perle du Lac is located alongside the lake in an enclosed pavilion that sits under the trees of Mon Repos Park. The decor is romantic and includes glowing candlelight indoors, while terrace diners can enjoy the Geneva night sky. The food at La Perle is exceptional. June 8,2005. About 30 of us went for dinner. The surroundings, service and food were superb: not a complaint from anyone, which is pretty good going with such a diverse group of feeders and considering how busy the restaurant was that evening. The owner was charming and exceedingly helpful, arranging transportation for us. An excellent experience which I look forward to repeating in a smaller party so we can experiment more with the great menu.
