Found the Seaforce people when I was looking for things to do in Glasgow during a recent visit on my stag do. We booked in for a fast boat ride to Dumbarton. After the guys fitted our life jackets we left at 12 noon and sped off down the Clyde from the city centre. It's an amazing boat ride, It's great sitting on a boat thats so close to the water, you get an amazing sensation of speed Once we got past the Erskine bridge there were a lot of waves and the driver explained that it was caused by the wind blowing against the tide flow. We all loved the boat riding over the waves. That's the first time Iv'e been on that fast type of boat and you feel really safe even on the waves. Mind you the guy driving really seemed to know his stuff. We got to Dumbarton and went to the Clipper its a nice kindda pub come restaurant and the boat waited for us. The guy didnt rush us but told us to take our time which we really appreciated. On the way back the waves seemed even more fun and it was nice with the wind at our backs. I would really recommend a ride on these boats if you are looking for something a bit more exciting to do. Website: Visit the Seaforce website » |
