Built in 1471, this is the oldest surviving house in Glasgow. Take note of its utilitarian medieval architecture and peruse authentic medieval furniture, paintings, stained glass, and simple necessities such as a sundial. This building was completed in 1794 and is the only surviving facility designed by Robert Adams. Guided tours take you through the Victorian, paneled saloon, the Grand Hall (frequently used for formal functions or meetings) and the Baroque Reception Room, with a massive fireplace and mahogany mantel.
