4. Pollok Country Park

Glasgow's largest park began as a private estate of the Maxwell family. Today, the 361 acres are a popular attraction in the area. Some of the most popular sites in the park are the 18th century Pollock House and the Burrell Collection. There are numerous trails and you can arrange to go on a guided tour if you wish. Access the park from Pollokshaws Road if coming by car and Haggs Road by foot.   (© 10Best)
