 EDITOR REVIEW: This modern hotel pays attention to detail, with comfortable robes, down comforters, and CD players in every room – with a selection of CD's, too. Housed in a converted church built in 1823, Malmaison is centrally located and has 62 rooms and 8 suites. A popular French-style brasserie is housed in what was once the crypt, which still has its Gothic ceiling. The bedrooms continue the theme, with photographs of Gothic architecture gracing the walls.
