EDITOR REVIEW: Formerly known as a jazz club, the 13th Note has livened up its image and attracted a younger, wilder crowd with metal and rock bands every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and alternative, punk, and ambient music on weekends. You'll find a taste of everything here; sometimes country and western or salsa is featured, complete with dance classes. Several area bands got their start here, and well-known musicians often come back to hang out. The dinner selection is better than you'd expect, and the decor is simple yet vibrant. |
