The name and decor of this New York style Brunch Mecca may be something of a cliche but the quality of the produce certainly makes up for it. From breakfast platters like the classic "manhattan" and the meat feast "atkins" (all served up with top quality cumberland sausage, fine british back bacon and eggs cooked however YOU like them) to a selection of classic and unusual variations on eggs benedict and of course pancakes with maple syrup there really is something on the menu for everyone!! With accompanying fresh squeezed OJ, fine coffee and awesome smoothies you couldn't wish for finer of a sunday morning with friends you never seem to be able to catch for lunch or dinner. Downsides - I'm afraid you won't be the only one who's heard how good this undersized oasis is and on a saturday or sunday between 11 and 1 it can be tough to get a table especially for 3 or 4. If you can afford to wait or work up an appetite with a stroll in nearby Kelvingrove Park I promise it will be worth it. If not, earlier later or weekdays will find a different atmosphere but no change in the satisfaction you'll feel if you can clear your plate!!
