 EDITOR REVIEW: Mother India offers freshly prepared Indian favorites that are cooked to order. Don't come if you're in a hurry – you may have to wait, but it's worth it. On the lower floor, checked tablecloths and jarred condiments lend a homey feel. Upstairs, the fireplace blazes in winter and the furnishings are charming antiques. All of the classics are here, from aubergine pakora to ginger chicken to the best curries in town. Plenty of fish, beef, and vegetarian dishes as well as a child's menu. Business casual dress.
