3. Lucayan Beach

I've been going to the Bahamas since 1982 between Freeport and Nassua. Since 2000, Freeport ( Grand Bahama, nice name change to shed the old image ) has made significant strides forward in it's planned infrastructure related to making this island very livable and appealing to tourism. The changes have been very visible in the last 8 years and the plan for the next 10 plus years are right on track for a success story. After 26 years of going to the Bahamas my significant other and I have just started our settlement on our retirement home. It will close in 60 days, 25 years of planning and waiting are finally here!
