DEADMAN'S REEF.   At Paradise Cove, the name fits because that's exactly where you will think you are! The location is not too far out of town, but it is far enough for you to feel like you are almost on another island. Positioned on a beautiful point of beach, this is an excellent place to spend a few hours or the whole day. There is a covered area with a bar and snack shack where you can enjoy the shade and listen to some great Reggae. Out on the beach you can get a tan, participate in water activities such as snorkeling and kayaking or enjoy a sunset. They have a kayak-like boat (called a spy cat) that has a glass bottom; it's a visitor favorite.   (© 10Best)

If you want to get lost and totally lose track of the real world, this is the place for you. A snorklers nirvana where within three minutes of the beach you are surrounded by the underwater world usually reserved for those with deep enough pockets to charter a dive boat and spend many hundreds of dollars on equipment. Our many visits were amazing and the sdmission is only $3 when you arrive by rental car or scooter and are not part of a tour. Even with the $4.63 gallon of gas, this is the best reason to rent a car, bring your mask and snorkel and explore a world like no other. A beach that you will remember forever.

This was a great snorkeling adventure. We seek out places, and this was one of the best we have done. You just swim out, and snorkel. The fish are so colorful. We saw a barracuda too. The coral is great, so colorful. Make sure you go early as possible, the tide lowers later. We did this in April and going back now in June. The value was great, lunch and ride out to Paradise Cove and snorkeling. What a deal!
