 EDITOR REVIEW: SUPAI. Located on the Havasupai reservation, this simple restaurant isn't elaborate, but it does offer a variety of filling fare for hungry diners. Cafeteria-style service is standard, and you'll find sandwiches, daily specials, and such Mexican dishes as burritos, tacos, and frybread (a local specialty that serves as the base for Southwestern toppings). If you like, outdoor seating is available, and you'll most certainly have the opportunity to meet Havasupai residents and learn about local Native American culture. |
