(based on 1 user rating) EDITOR REVIEW: SOUTH SOUND. The Grand Old House is actually part of the Petra, an old coconut plantation dating back to the 19th century. An elegant affair awaits, from romantic ocean-side gazebos to the refined main dining areas inside, where antique furnishings and turn-of-the-century decor recollect the home's plantation past. While celebrity chef Tell Erhardt is no longer associated with the Grand Old House, current chef Kandathil Mathai leaves diners speechless with such entrées as Rack of Lamb Provençale served on rosemary jus and Caribbean Broiled Lobster Tail with sweet and red peppers. Reservations are required. |
