A blue-and-white eatery located north of George Town, the Wharf earns high marks for its local fish and seafood, friendly service, and open-air verandah dining room. At 9pm, patrons are invited to watch the nightly tarpon feedings from Ports of Call, the restaurant's oft-crowded bar area. Menu favorites include smoked salmon, Creole-style conch fritters, lobster and shrimp in a spicy curry sauce, and turtle steak. More terrene appetites will savor offerings of veal Martinique and steak fillet béarnaise. Reservations are suggested. |
