 EDITOR REVIEW: WEST BAY. It's safe to say that there probably aren't many restaurants that share their name with this unique seafood eatery, which overlooks the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean. A casual attitude abounds, whether it's in the t-shirt-wearing waitstaff or the pirate galley-esque dining area. House specialties include West Bay Turtle Steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, Cayman Style Mahi-Mahi with orange butter sauce, and Broiled Caribbean Lobster served on the half shell. In the evenings, the patio bar tends to get crowded with locals and expats looking to wind down the day and espy that magnificent Caribbean sunset. Dinner reservations are suggested. |
