COOPERSVILLE.   This museum, dedicated to honoring the pivotal role farming has played in the development of Western Michigan, offers a wide range of family friendly fun without the hassle of long lines and crowded corridors. See founder Ed Hanenburg's collection of John Deere machinery, some of which dates back to the Deere company's earliest days. Also included are regularly changing exhibits on old and new farming techniques. On your way out, be sure to stop by the farm museum's store, where you'll find various and sundry souvenirs and collectibles for the folks back home, including John Deere hats, games, puzzles, toys, tees, and candies. Group tours and rates are available.   (© 10Best)
