DOWNTOWN.   The laughs just keep on coming at Dr. Grins, one of Western Michigan's top comedy clubs. Located on the top floor of the B.O.B., an old warehouse that's been converted into four levels of restaurants and clubs, Dr. Grins sports a certain turn-of-the-century charm, complete with dark hardwood floors, weathered brick walls, and exposed ductwork. A refreshing mix of regional and national talent graces the stage at this cozy lounge, where intimate tables for two are clustered around the small stage area. Shows range from PG to R, depending on the comedian, and you can always rest assured that folks sitting up front will serve as the butts for more than a few jokes and jibes. Dr. Grins has a two-drink minimum, and the 8pm shows are non-smoking.   (© 10Best)
