DOWNTOWN.   This Southwestern-themed treasure has been spoiling Grand Rapids since the '80s. Both the lunch and breakfast menus bear a distinctive lilt – with flavors enhanced by the likes of tequila, green chilies, jalapeños, and black beans. Wise breakfast options include one of their scrumptious Sundance scrambles – the Morning Star with mushrooms, bacon, and diced tomatoes, or the Popeye with spinach and mushrooms. If you like, you can go with classic eggs Benedict or an Arizona-style huevos rancheros omelet. If the opportunity presents itself, the Sundance mimosas come highly recommended by regulars. This is a must stop if you love breakfast and cinnamon rolls. Matthew is a fabulous waiter and I must say that the shirts they wear are a very nice color.
