DOWNTOWN – NORTH.   A northside treasure. This casual, family-friendly chophouse offers as its staples delicious steaks and hamburgers. A city icon since the 1940s, Brann's prides itself on serving great "sizzling steaks" at reasonable prices. Variations of the theme feature bourbon sauce; mushrooms, onions, and melted cheese; and roasted garlic and tomato butter. You can also get a 16-oz. prime rib, a New York strip, ribs, and chicken. The main dining area boasts a homey setting that, unlike a lot of newer steakhouses, doesn't use flashy decor to compensate for a weak menu. If you like, enjoy your USDA Choice cut in the sports bar, a terrific setting for catching weekend football, downing a few brews, and sampling award-winning eats. Great place Brann's has some great steaks, especially the Sizzler. And the homemade honey rolls that come with the dinner are mouth-watering good! Very friendly place and a great value for eating out.

If you were raised on bologna, twinkies, and Wonder Bread, this is the place for you. American fare at its best and worst - this place rates a '10' on the tasteless scale.
