EGR Fire House Grill has some of the most exceptional tasting food we have ever encountered. My husband and I have the opportunity to travel and dine at many restaurants. We are so lucky to have this place in our back yard. They are privately owned, so not restricted by corporate rules or pre-made menus. Their food is made with the freshest ingredients by supporting the local farmers. Most of their food is organic and most meets is free range. The Steaks are to die for, but you can just have a burger if you want, no more fast food for us! Our favorite thing to do there (besides the great wine dinners) is to bring a group of friends out for dinner and indulge in what they call the chefs table. This where you get a 5 course meal made by the chef and owner. The courses are of his choice with you in mind. As I have food allergies and can be sure he will accommodate them with out loss of quality or flavor. I personal and highly recommend this place.

A small local restaraunt in the outside of Downtown Grand Rapids. This small eatery has the flair of Chicago, Boston, Pliladelphia or New York. During "seasons" the eatery is decorated with lights, decals, hearts, pumpkins, Santas and Bunnies. The Bar top is made of copper and the walls decorated with copper pots, pitchers etc. The food is wonderfull with ethnic(Polish) entree specials.

The Breakfast Nook Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner all day every day. They use only the fresh products. Their portions are huge. They have every thing from omelets to steak dinners. You really can’t go wrong on their daily breakfast specials either. Every day from 6 AM – 11AM they serve 2 eggs 3 pieces of meat and toast for $3.99 and 2 eggs, potato and toast for $2.99. Their food is the best. You won’t find a better value anywhere else.
