7. Lafontsee Galleries – Underground Studio

WAREHOUSE DISTRICT.   One of the area's more intrepid galleries, Underground Studio specializes in the work of up-and-coming regional artists. Located in a renovated warehouse on the banks of the Grand Rapids River, the gallery hosts a collection of photos by the acclaimed Brian Kelly, acrylics on wood by Chilean Luis Villanueva, and the colorful work of James Karsini. In addition to artwork, the gallery carries chic furniture and home accessories.
