San Chez is a restaurant that sells appetizers only. (TAPAS) The portions are very small and light to split between even two people. Two out of the four we ordered was great and the other two were just okay. three stars.....REALLY EXEPENSIVE TWO!!!

San Chez is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when coming to downtown Grand Rapids. The food and service are excellent and the best thing about this place is its unique atmosphere.

San Chez Bistro was the first tapas place in Grand Rapids. Don't be fooled by imitation places, this is the original. The authentic Spanish food is complimented by the great service. They are even open for lunch, so I can go in for a quick bite on my lunch break. My favorite dish is the mussels, a must-have if you go. This place is definitely a destination for my family.
