GREEN BAY. Sprawling across 700 acres, Bay Beach offers nature-lovers a beautiful setting for exploration, learning, and fun. Bird-watchers will be happy to find that the park's water and wild areas are home to approximately 250 distinct species of birds, including more than 3500 ducks and geese. The Nature Education Center features three levels of hands-on exhibits, and the Observation Wing allows guests to view live birds of prey and the critters "enrolled" in Bay Beach's rehabilitation program. Meanwhile, wolves, bobcats, flying squirrels, and otters are alive and kicking in the Woodland Building, located along the park's Wildlife Habi-Trek Trail.
