STADIUM DISTRICT.   One of the most storied sports franchises in history, the Packers are unique in that the citizens of Green Bay actually own the team. This relationship has created a special bond between the city and the team, one that transcends the concept of mere civic pride. Indeed, the noise-level and passion experienced during a game at Lambeau are rare in pro sports. However, since Packer games have been sold out to season ticket holders since 1960, you can't simply breeze into town and expect to catch a game. You can see a game, but there's some advance planning required. Packer Fan Tours (920-438-1640 OR 800-851-7225, www.packerfantours.com/) is the official vendor for tickets, tours, and tailgating. They arrange packages and tailgating parties, which include tickets, for both home and away games.
