GREEN BAY.   Rumor has it that this chili shack is the one place legendary coach and sports commentator John Madden always frequents when he visits Packerland. Since around 1913, Chili John's has been treating customers to hearty servings of the magical elixir, which comes in four different versions – mild, medium, hot, and extra-hot – and is served with spaghetti, beans, or Wisconsin cheese. This is hands down the best chili around. Everytime I'm in town, I HAVE to have a bowl (and one to go)!

Not near as good as Chili Johns on Burbank at Keystone in Burbank, California. The one in California seems to be closer to John's.
