7. Kroll's East

with lots more butter and grease. Feel like throwing your money away? Head to Kroll's East, where a slice of cheese is 75 cents and you get 8 fries for a dollar. The dive-bar/diner atmosphere is charming, unlike the staff who can't seem to wait for the next smoke break. The food is certainly tasty but the small portions disappear quickly. Some people will tell you that it's a Green Bay institution, a staple of Titletown. That may explain how this dilapidated restaurant still reels in customers: those unwilling to recognize how miserable this establishment really is.

Great food but you have to admit, it is pricey. I guess that wouldn't make too much of a differance if the owners and there family were more kind the the costumers. You say it's a family place but yet you treat people as if they were dirt!

WOW ! $4.00 for a bowl of chili ? I know prices are going up everywhere, but ... inflation in Green Bay isn't THAT bad ! A trip to Kroll's is mandatory every time I get back to WI, but it's becoming an event rather than "Let's drop in to Kroll's for lunch" because of the prices. Bummer.
