DOWNTOWN.   For well over thirty years, this family operation has provided downtown Green Bay with a cozy setting, friendly service, and traditional home-cooked German fare. Indeed, the place looks to have changed little from its earliest days, and it still sports red paneled walls and recessed shelving with steins and other German curiosities. Dinner crowds enjoy sating their appetites with sauerbraten, wiener schnitzel, and Black Forest schnitzel.
