GREEN BAY. Known for homemade pasta dishes and hand-tossed pizzas, Sammy's on Oneida has been a tradition since the late '50s, when the Clemo and Crispigna families ran their first pizzeria on Walnut Street. Though the location may have changed, members of the Crispigna family continue to own and operate the place today and still use traditional family recipes to create signature, old-fashioned Italian fare. The open kitchen and rough, earth-toned walls provide a homey setting for enjoying a 16-inch Sammy's Special Pizza – Wisconsin-made mozzarella cheese topped with Italian sausage, onion, and green peppers.
