Bur-Mil Park encompasses 247-acres and features both passive and active recreational opportunities as well as the Clubhouse, a rental facility. Picnic shelters, hiking & biking trails, fishing, tennis and volleyball courts are some of its popular activities. The park also boasts a practice driving range and a par 3 9-hole golf course, both lit for night play. The state-of-the-art Family Aquatic Center attracts visitors of all ages, and an old barn on the property has been renovated and now houses the Wildlife Education Center, which offers exhibits and wildlife classes. Best Park in Greensboro
Bur-Mil is the best park in greensboro. Fantastic for all ages. An inexpensive par 3 golf course, shelters to grill out in, 3 small bass ponds which are stocked yearly not to mention the larger Lake Brandt. The small white barn at the back of the park has free rentals for bikes as well as free rental of fishing poles for the little ones. The barn also has an assortment of animals, it's worth stopping in. I frequent the park to ride my mountain bike. Off of the paved greenway there is access to Owl's Roost and Wild Turkey, moutain bike trails that are top notch for the triad area. A fantasitc park well worth the trip with a family or by yourself.
