This historic site focuses on what life was like for people in North Carolina's back country. The Colonial Heritage Center & Hoskins House are part of the Tannenbaum Historic Park, and display artifacts, hands-on exhibits and special presentations on how settlers lived during the 18th century. The park also hosts a number of Living History Weekends during the spring, summer and fall as well as an autumn Colonial Fair in November. Call ahead for details.
