The Liberty Oak originally started as a wine and cheese shop, but with time it expanded and is now well known for its excellent food and affordable prices. The decor includes a 10-stool bar, high ceilings, white linen-clothed tables and an upscale feel. Great wine bar at the entrance and great outdoor patio when the weather is good. The food is above average but a little on the expensive side. Excellent atmosphere. Restored an old downtown building. This is the place the yuppies go in Greensboro. Expect a long wait, they do not take reservations.
