10. Yum Yum Better Ice Cream

Best Ice Cream anywhere! Do yourself a favor and drop in for a cone or cup! Yum Yum's ice cream is still made on site the same old fashioned way it has been for almost 100 years and the taste proves it! Truly Americana at its best!

I grew up in Greensboro and remember Yum-Yum from their old location. I am 50 years old now, living in Nashville, TN and every visit back to Greensboro, MUST include a trip to Yum-Yum for three dogs all the way and a Cheerwine. In my opinion, the secret is in their chili. I've eaten at soda fountain places all over the country, and absolutely no one's hotdogs can touch these. I only wish I had the recipe for their chili.
