5. Indigo Bead Studio

Three years ago I took my first beading class at Indigo Bead, and I have been hooked since. Everything about this store is first rate from the merchandise to the employees and owner. The quantity of beads is almost overwhelming at first, but once you've chosen something you really like, the staff will help you select other beads to complement your choices. If you are in town or visiting, you do not want to miss out on this experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and vast selection of beads that this store offered. It also offered a selection of pre-made jewelry and I purchased both the beads and made my own jewelry as well as some pieces that were made up by the store. They also offered a cute selection of key chains and both of my daughters purchased one of them and they are very popular with everyone who sees them. Nice store. Good experience.

The address has changed - they are now on Friendly Ave, opposite Hams Restaurant. Hope that helps.
