6. Blind Tiger

What's not to love about this place. It's basically the only place in town to hear good live music on a regular basis. Sure they get flack for booking a few cover bands every month, but they are also the only place in town that brought Bernie Worrell (R-n-R Hall of Famer), Mary Prankster, Wrinkle Neck Mules, and the current darlings of New Orleans, Papa Grows Funk.

Preppy scene not my style. Needs more females.

Great live music sometimes. Smokey suburban hole of a place, no food, full of 21 year old drinkers standing around like a bunch of grapes. Forget conversation, just plan on [drinking] and calling a cab.
