Christ Episcopal Church

DOWNTOWN. Greenville's first church occupies a park-like setting in the midst of downtown. The brick sanctuary, built in the early 19th century, adapts Gothic style in the vernacular. Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the church is available for tours with advance notice. In its quiet cemetery lie the remains of Vardry McBee, Greenville's founding father.
