Kilgore-Lewis House

DOWNTOWN. Built in the 1830s, the Kilgore-Lewis House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, it is the headquarters of the Greenville Council of Garden Clubs and is available for weddings and other private functions. Distinctive features of this historic home are its copper roof, hand-blown glass windows, and wood peg construction. Lovely gardens complement the five acres surrounding the structure.
