3. Jones Gap State Park

Take US 76 west from Cleveland, turn right onto River Falls Road and follow it until it becomes Jones Gap Road. Here, on 3,346 acres, you'll discover extensive nature trails, the Middle Saluda River, camp grounds and the nature exhibits of the Environmental Education Center. Jones Gap is the perfect place to go for a family picnic or to enjoy the beautiful scenery, the mountain and the creek that runs through the park. My family and I have been visiting Jones Gap for day trips, birthday parties, camping excursions, etc. for years and it never gets old.
