7. Peace Center for the Performing Arts

DOWNTOWN.   Greenville's premier destination for theater and the arts, the Peace Center hosts numerous headline events including Broadway musicals, concerts and plays and is home to the Greenville Symphony, SC Children's Theatre, Greenville Chorale, International Ballet and Carolina Ballet Theater. Its main concert hall seats 2100 guests, and its smaller venue, the Gunter Theatre, accommodates 400. An outdoor amphitheatre are frequently used for community events.   (© 10Best)

The Peace Center is a classy theater situated in the middle of downtown Greenville. Every year, they are host to great concerts, the Nutcracker ballet and a number of Broadway performances. What makes the Peace Center so great is that it's small enough to feel intimate and to always have a great seat, but large enough to house crowds for big name entertainment.
