Artisphere, Greenville’s Arts Weekend, is an annual outdoor street festival of visual, performing, and culinary arts. Set to take place May 7–9, 2010, in the West End Historic District of Downtown Greenville, SC, Artisphere showcases 120 of the highest-caliber visual artists from across the United States and beyond. Exhibitor booths are located along Main Street overlooking Falls Park on the Reedy. With its proximity to the Peace Center for the Performing Arts, Center Stage, the Warehouse Theatre, and two outdoor amphitheatres, Falls Park on the Reedy provides a perfect setting for the Artisphere festival.

They’re always there, every year. Every office has them. You may cringe a little – or maybe delight in – watching your coworkers make fools of themselves after indulging in too much holiday cheer. You know who we’re talking about – the types are immediately and painfully recognizable. So without further ado, we present our breakdown of the 10 most annoying people you’re likely to encounter at a holiday office party, courtesy of our 10Best crew members. While we can't support all Southern culinary traditions wholeheartedly (does everything have to be fried?), we will assert without a twinge of regret that a Southern Thanksgiving beats a Northern one, hands-down. Not only do Southerners not feel compelled to create a meal that unerringly honors the one our forefathers are said to have enjoyed, but they accept everyone's contributions without reservation. As a result, the table groans with good (if unrelated) things, akin to a church potluck.
So, join us as we point out the distinctions between a Southern Thanksgiving and a Northern one, from side dishes to desserts to the main course. We may have a few biases, and you're welcome to disagree with our choices. But either way your opinion swings, you're sure to discover great traditions to stand behind, not to mention a slew of can't-beat recipes to try this year.
