Looking for something fun to do that also helps others? Then, you can't beat the 13th Annual Greenville Candlelight Charity 5K Run and Family Fun Run, which both take place on Saturday, June 20, 2009. The Family Fun Run starts at 8pm; the 5K begins at 9pm. Held on a candlelit course, they offer terrific ways to enjoy a summer Southern evening and help the community to boot.

Candlelight Run: The LocationClemson University's ICAR campus (International Center for Automotive Research) makes a stunning backdrop for the 5K, with its contemporary structures and well-planned spaces. By day, at twilight, or by candlelight, the area is a fitting setting for the Candlelight Run – both entities promote service to a cause greater than what's immediately seen. |
