DOWNTOWN.   Be prepared for a throng of locals if you're headed here on a weekend night. With two levels, dart boards, booths and plenty of wide open space, this is a good spot to mix and mingle. Guinness flows freely, and a number of domestic beers are on tap, too. Live Irish music plays to eager crowds on occasion, and Tuesday's trivia night is well-attended. The classic pub decor includes a picture of the owner's mother looking out across the hubbub. Beneath her gaze, you can sample shepherd's pie and other traditional fare.   (© 10Best)

I would say that Connolly's is one of the better bars in Greenville. It has a fun atmosphere. You can listen to a band or play darts. They have a good drink selection at a good price. It's best for meeting up with a group of friends.

"Irish" pubs are supposed to be boisterous at times, cozy at others, but always those places that you know you'll enjoy whether you're relaxing with pals or looking to make new connections. Unfortunately, Connolly's offers neither the atmosphere nor the entertainment to be a quality venue. The beer choices are fair…Tables in the middle of walking areas make seating an uncomfortable and inconvenient experience, if there's music, it's far too loud to have a conversation even at face-to-face distance. Restrooms are dirty and not well maintained. Oh, and there's not even a token Irish person in the place.
