2. High Cotton

Nice View...Not much else
I have tried High Cotton twice since moving to G-Ville 2 yrs ago. Nice setting/views but the food does not make it. I tried dinner & bar/appy & both times was very disappointed. Took family there for a birthday celebration & business associates for a bar/appy crawl & was disappointed both times....many other better places downtown..

Great Service / Great Food
I've eating here for dinner about 4 times, and every time the service and food have been excellent. Yes, you pay for it, but it's worth it. As with any place, it can depend on what you order. I've had success with the Rabbit ... my first time eating Rabbit that i can recall. Very good. Others I was with all enjoyed what they ordered as well.

The Rabbit was awesome. But actually, anything wrapped in bacon is awesome.

I've only been here once - for the $5 burger in the evenings. I was expecting a whole lot more than what I got. The burger wasn't that great but it was hard to beat the price and the atmosphere. I'll post again once I try out a real dinner here.

I really enjoyed the food but the entertainment was absolutely wonderful. I was treated to High Cotton on my birthday in July and I really enjoyed it.

We (9 of us) dined at High Cotton recently and found the cuisine to be excellent over a wide variety of menu selections. Service was top notch. Wine list is good. Atmosphere is also quite nice. Plan on a return visit soon!

I have had lobster all my life being from MA, and I must say, I have never had it cooked as perfectly as it was at High Cotton. Lobster has now been ruined for me as I will probably never find it cooked so perfectly again. The salads, steak, and desserts were fabulous as well. I recommend this restaurant!

Wow - our experiences here have been nothing but wonderful. The food has been absolutlely excellent, service has been accommodating and friendly, just top-notch on all fronts. I think it ranks among the top 3 restaurants in Greenville, easily.

Service was better than most. However, the food quality and portions were not. Had we not been given a gift certificate I would have been very upset to pay for what we received. The steaks were cooked incorrectly and were quite bland. I will not be returning for a second chance.

I have dined here on many occasions -- food is superb and the service is top notch. If you want to celebrate a special occasion or just go out for a great meal, High Cotton is your best choice in Greenville.

Food was awful, service so-so. Location great. Had reservations and still waited 20 minutes for a table. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT !!! Greenville has much better to offer than High Cotton.

Very excited to visit because the Charleston location is so wonderful. Went to the sunday brunch on Mothers day and the service was poor and the food was mediocre. Big dissapointment

this is a great restaurant--in charleston. here, food was cold, tables are crowded, and as the topper, i found a hair in my dish!
