WOODRUFF ROAD.
On the outside, there's little that makes Blue Fire stand out from its Woodruff Road neighbors. Inside, though, it's a different story. In fact, it's a different genre all together. This New American makes a thrilling first impression, as its ultra-contemporary environs offer a sense of "big city"-chic that truly sets it apart – high ceilings, a towering wine rack, a central display kitchen and community dining. As to the fare, there's a sushi bar and an entire slate of creative mains, ranging from Cajun catfish to dry-aged steaks.

Granted the food is very pricey, but you should expect that when you walk through the front door. I have been to Blue Fire Grill a few times and the food has varied in quality based upon what I ordered. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves seafood and has plenty of money to spend.

Visiting from California (please read on even though I'm from California) I stumbled upon the Blue Fire Grill. I avoid chain restaurants and love to discover local food. Parking was excellent. Building exterior made me worry. Just inside the front door I was captured. Great environment; nicely separated sections; high energy; great menu and wine list. Portions seemed a little large and prices were slightly under normal by California standards. Service was really great. I asked for the manager and complimented him.

My boyfriend and I have gone there three times and always loved their shrimp and scallops, but it is SOOOO expensive for the amount of food and service that you receive. Last night was the last time I will ever go. The seafood was so overcooked that I couldn't finish it and when I complained the server just took my plate and apologized. They wouldn't credit it and the manager didn't even come to see if there was a problem. We spent $70 for two awful entrees and with that kind of service we won't be back.
