DOWNTOWN.
Widely proclaimed as the best barbecue in town, Henry's is Greenville's great equalizer, seating business and government types alongside guys in jeans and workboots. Such a response isn't surprising when you sample the tender, succulent meat (with your choice of sauce) served alongside baked beans, cole slaw or fries. It's a classic Southern lunch, and you can readily gauge its popularity by the crowds. The decor at Henry's isn't fancy and seating is somewhat limited but, after the first bite, you'll know where the restaurant has directed its attention.

I love going to Henry's Smokehouse. The pulled pork plate with the heaping portion of fries is my favorite. An if you want something sweet make sure to get the sweet potato crunch.

I had heard Henrys was the best in town.It was pretty good. The sauces were watered down somewhat. The pork was good however due to the rush we felt rushed out of our seats to make room for more people.

I had gotten mixed reviews from people about Henry's, but finally decided last week to try it out for myself. The pulled pork here is some of the best I've had in town. It's lean, moist, succulent, and makes a great sandwich. The meat here is the sole reason I give this place a 4/5. If you are looking for great sides, or excellent sauces, then Henry's might not be the place for you. Personally the sides were just not very good. I tried the brunswick stew and the BBQ beans, my friend had the hash and slaw. Prices are good though, but then aren't most BBQ places?? :) I definitely recommended getting a sandwich (pulled pork), even if the sides and the sauces leave something to be desired.
