Very nice evening
Took my wife there for anniversary because of what the place stood for: fresh, local, low tavelled and clean tasting food. It did not dissapoint. We had the trio of duck app, very good, my wife thought a little salty, I thought to be good. Goat cheese salad was perfect portion, hard to mess this up, they did not. I had the chard, sweet corn, flounder and aioli dish was satisfying. I tried her rabbit and did not think it was bad, just too similar to roast chicken for the price. Also, fancy restaurants need not serve such boney things as rabbit, the eaters are afraid to put the fork aside and get the meat off the animal. Needed more sauce or broth to compliment the rabbit. the waiters were almost too intrusive, but that is refreshing when you have to shake your ice at some restaurants to get attention. Very informed staff as to who they are and what they are about, helped select a quality wine for us.
My wife ordered something like a warm caramel chocolate tart, very good but I would have liked a crunchy texture on the plate. Good experience overall
